Arkansas Herpetological Society (AHS)

The Arkansas Herpetological Society (AHS) is a nonprofit organization that was reconstituted in 2004. The society works in conjunction with the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission and has the following goals: Educate the general public about native herpetofauna, encourage conservation of all wildlife and herpetofauna in particular, provide a means of communication and cooperation between professional herpetologists and amateur enthusiasts, assist various wildlife management areas, state parks, and similar organizations in conducting herpetological field surveys, broaden our understanding of the distribution and abundance of native herpetofauna through selective collection and/or documentation.

Arizona Herpetological Association (AHA)

Our goals are to: Provide education to the public about reptiles & amphibians, foster an environment where people can appreciate reptiles & amphibians as a community, and rescue and relocate reptiles that find themselves in harms way

MHS works to promote the study and conservation of reptiles and amphibians. This includes attending events to educate the public in the ecological role of reptiles and amphibians, and holding monthly member meetings to promote an atmosphere for open discussion of herpetology.
